Probably thats why we empolyed so many Msias from across the causeway. Enjoy the cheaper labour, and they can be of use to defence strategy. If the MLRS is launch at Spore, many of the Msians will die along Sporean. And when that happen, do you think the remaining family members in Johor will still support the MAF..?? There are too many PRs here which origin from across the causeway.

Power Plants, commerical airports or ports are possible target. But guess that's where they employed lots of PRs and foreign works too..
Anyone using MLRS on civilians is gonna kana sanction from the whole world.
That's a very big price to pay for using those stuff. -
Let me see the CEI of MRLS is reckoned to be 1,000 m so if I aim at Taka I will cover Orchard Road up to Centrepoint and Tangs. Make sure Singtel/Starhub are fighting about access to handphone cell coverage (ECM),

We have done this ages ago.
Eventhough the Brazilian company did not disclose the CEP, for a totally unguided rocket system like Astros 2 , it should have a Circular Error Prob. (CEP) of at least 1% of range.
For example , the similar Chinese WS-1B is 1~1.5%, the Indian Pinaka is reported to be abt 1~2%.
Eg, at range of 89km with 1% CEP of range, the Prob Error (PE) is 89km x 1% =890m.
CEP was actually based on the Gaussian distribution, where 50% will fall within 1PE, 32% will fall between 1~2 PE ,14% will fall within 2~3 PE and lastly 4% will fall bewteen 3~4 PE.
Since the actual CEP of Astros is unknown, but such unguided system at best is having 1% CEP, so give it a benefit of doubt , say 1%.
Thus at maximum range of 89km , the Astros will have :
50% will fall within 890m from the target,
32% will fall within 890m~1.78km from the target,
16% will fall within 1.78km~2.67km from the target,
and lastly will fall within 2.67km~3.56km from the target.
Remember, 1% is the best CEP for such unguided rocket system, the Astros 2 could be much worse.

the 1km2, is not the area damaged by a rocket... its the spread zone of the bomblet... meaning... if i am right in the zone of the rocket.. the chances one of those bomblet would hit me is so low... i can just continue my jalan jalan....
there is an entire thread devoted to the astros back last year.. and we have already proven beyond a doubt.. that astros is just a white elephant... any one can provide the link for our friend?
