2 LAW
What are the current aresenal in a section?

The guy walking in front, if garang enough will carry his personal weapon, a shotgun, and a rocket launcher. And if he's free, he even plays sniper.

errr...there's no way a section is gonna carry a spike. the system consists of a control launch unit, tripod and iirc battery pack besides the missiles themselves. its been a while, and i don't have much experience with the spike in a manpack role, but the CLU and missiles are plenty heavy.Originally posted by lionnoisy:zichuan.thx. thesection can be further divided into 2 groups,
group 1 consist of the 4 first people, 2 LAW gunner, 1 M203 and the Section IC. group 2 consist of the last 3 people, 2 SAW and the Section 2IC. -
so who carry claymore? is that a section weapon?

lets have a look what are the "things" in a section.
M16/SAR21 ~ 5.56mm, range 460m+/-. no problem for 600m
SAW ~ 5,56mm, range 460m+/-. no problem for 600m
M203 ~ HE and HEDP, range 31m to 150m point target, 350m, area target. White Star. rate of fire? arming distance 14m to 28m.
LAW ~ HEAT(old) HEDP(new, not sure) 150m to 300m for armoured target and 500m for soft skin. arming distance 12m.
SFG 82 ~ Fragmentation grenade.
Bangalore Torpedo Charge ~
Claymore Mine M18A1 ~ 700 ball bearing.
Pen Gun ~
Parang ~

I was in the infantary unit, as the above who mention claymore? Section 2IC carrys it or either Sect comm or other section men volunteer to carry to share the burden off its 2IC. Basically Law gunner T_T they need to carry law and sar21. Dont worry weight is not a problem infantary, you will be trained till so well enough you are not scared of weight.
