@ corvettes got 24 anti-ship missiles

  This old news was posted in 2004 by our learned ferns but it worths to look again.
  
  Barak missiles in RSN missile converttes now can hit ship also.
  Besides it can hit missile and aircraft,' but were recently adapted for use
  against ships as well' STimes 02.06.2004.
  
  Now ,there are 16 Barak and 8 Harpoon anti --ship missiles in each of the 6 corvette.
  Total 24 anti- ship missiles in a ship!

  The Barak has a secnodary role which is a close-in last ditch defense against small crafts (like terrorists speed boats).....
  
  To call it a "anti ship missle" is really overdoing it!

  Tomahawk is not for anti ship uses..
  
  Previously, USN had a anti ship version of Tomahawk, but it abandoned this version because it was not accurate as another type of Tomahawk (Land Attack). Anti ship Tomahawk tend to hit wrong targets.

  talk about point defense.. how on earth are you going to fit a MK 15 Phalanx Close-In Weapons System (CIWS) onto a corvette?

  I'm sure the MK15 will be alrite on the Deltas.Let the Asters be uprated to the Aster 30, and use them as surface to surface missiles.

  This is a general misconception. Unlike the Barak, the Asters cannot be use as a surface to surface missile in general.
