But the duration was shorter on 2 of the 3 fronts: on the Egyptian side only 4 days, and on the Jordanian side only 3 days. It was only on the Syrian side that the war lasted the whole 6 days.

US i dun think will ever cease support for Israel.Why? 2 reasons.
(1)In Middle East, Israel is the only non-muslim country and the US can base troops there etc. and be able to project their military might in the region.And say that the reason of the being there is to provide regional military stability.
(2)There are many Jewish ppl who hold key posts (not the high places,but the right places) in the US Constitution which will see to it that the Israelis get the support they need..

Iraq fired Scuds into Israel not due to the fact of gettin a reaction from Israel.But to attempt to break the alliance of the arab nations with the Western Coalition. As once Israel joins in the fray, the arab nations will pull out from the contributions to the western alliance,in particular the US.
