Yes, okay well, my example is not the best..but I had a short fuse during my 3 month Log EX and my anger/stress was more shown in campOriginally posted by Hellraiza:Guys gotta question for ya.
When you return home after a particular tiring week in camp or a tough outfield exercise which pushed you to your limits, do you find yourself having a shorter fuse with your civilian friends/family members? Do you feel some kind of urge to break something? Yell at your parents even for the slightest thing? Easily irritated, frustrated at the seemingly "stupid" behaviour of people outside your army life? Over-drinking, excessive behaviour on the weekends?
Please answer honestly...thanks.

No leh...why need to break something...again, so tired, now got abit of civilian life before book in, so instead becomes calmer and cooler, as in you "huaw" all the way and shout and spent all strength needed in army, what for need to break or yell at people? Easily irritated? more like bo-hiew to me. Maybe tends to go Orchard etc, more often as you tend to go closer to civilian life by mingling in it to relax. Over-drinking? you got mess in units mah....even private's mess, and canteen leh...where beers can go free-flow or at super cheaper price than outside leh...Please answer honestly...thanks.

I've seen a few Gomer Pyles in my life..and it's sad, considering that they did not have a good family background in the first place to begin with..and I really give thanks that I have such a great family to be with, and a good life outside camp..Originally posted by Hellraiza:im referring to the "Full metal jacket" kinda behaviour change...u know, PVT Gomer Pyle?
