Posting on foreign forums

Been lurking on some foreign defense boards for some time. Can't help but feel a little embarrassed for some Singaporean posters when they are too gung-ho in presenting the SAF and are too defensive when poked (or baited) by other posters on such forums.
Anyway, is there any way to get the message to these guys that they might try to be a little bit more diplomatic and careful when they post on such forums as a lot of people tend to read and stumble across these boards. I am not sure about the maturity of the people posting on these boards, but some Singaporeans come across as really obnoxious and defensive sometimes....
As a Singaporean and someone who has done his time, I can't help but cringe at the remarks and discussions sometimes, especially when some foreign posters start dangling obvious baits.
No real point to this post, but just wanted to get it off my chest. :-)

well...gotta accept freewill. They wanna make themselves look like idiots thats their problem.
You can continue to post here though, if you wanna a change in enviroment.
Over here, the mods will generally edit, delete post that are overly chest thumping etc. In addition, we cut down on those country x vs country y threads. -
I don't like it either. I've seen some of these posts here as well and for example, some of these people sound like we are ready to destroy Malaysia, Indonesia and take on China at the same time.
Unfortunately some of these chaps have paid for the bragging rights in having also "done their time" as you put it.
Freedom of speech and pent up testosterone, I guess... -
I've been around military forums for years - and I agree, some of these postings by Singaporeans are really embarrassing.
You got the self made analyst coming in with all sorts of data doing country comparisons. Then there's also people serving in non combat units trying to smoke others, and kids not having served NS yet also getting into the act.
I mentioned this before in another thread - where is the experience, maturity and professionalism? -
But then again, you have the chance to glean certain angles not seen in local military forums.
Especially on the role of Singapore in any Straits crisis.

I have been to many foreign boards too, but don't seemed to detect many Singaporean posters giving any BS replies. I, personally, take note of some, and they are very objective and professional...
