The elbow high form is more commonly seen with US troops. Brits prefer to keep their elbow low. Both works, just that I prefer keeping elbows pointed down too. Centralised CG, at least thats how I feel.

Firing position is very much up to the individual, as long as it works for that person... who cares what position it is. -
Dunno, to me, i feel the guy has tilted his head too much just to look thru the sight. The sight must always come up to the eye, and now the head tilt down. If u tilt to the side to ur aim will always change.
I like wat i was taught, one phrase sums it all up, "Be the master of your weapon." -

G36 is only used by STAR unit & they have a variety of other firearms too.

I have handled the Steyr Aug before, but hasn't fired one..
But according to some private owners, the Aug, cannot maintain sustained fire, generates too much heat to the barrel. That's why, the Aug has a "quick barrel change" ability.
Anyway, Because of the mostly expose barrel, It's always advisable to wear gloves and lond sleeves before and after firing, I'm told. And I find shoulding and carrying the Aug is uncomfortable and the expose barrel makes it awkward.
Is it true .. The AUG cannot hold sustain fire ? -

That's why ppl use SAW instead.

Assault rifles are not designed for sustained fire. That's what GPMGs are for. Even SAWs are not really meant to be sustained fire weopons.
And as for the barrel getting hot... every darn weopon that can fire automatic has its barrel turning hot after a while. M16, SAW, GPMG, etc. -

I own the Steyr AUG -A2 and have use it on occasion of mag dumps, we did like 6 30 rd mags and 3 42 rd mags one after the other with no probelm. the barrel seems to hold up very well.
However, the plastic on the rifle do not hold up very well! i have 2 occasion where the hot empty brass eats into the ejection area
's plastic.

I am curious: how did the ejected brass contact the plastic surrounding the ejection port? Was it due to a misfeed and/or jam? -

Was doing quite a bit of shooting .. doing some IPSC 3 gun matches and let me tell you, AUG would be the last weapon you want to be using this... reload is way too slow...
The ejection problem is when doing full auto firing, the empty brass ejection got caught between the moving bolt and the ejection port and as we know the ejection port is part of the plastic stock of the AUG! the hot brass simply eat and melt into the plastic stock ! I was just horrified!
And I have another problem with the AUG-A2, somtimes if I use heavier 223ammo like the 62 grain M855, the firing pin will come off, it somhow got twsited out of the bolt carrier !
Overall this is a okay weapon ! but I will not count my life on it when shit hits the fence.
Here is my new edition ! a AKSU-74 ! man ! this weapon with the short barrel I can hit a 6 ft steel gong 300 meter iron sights.... accurate as I can see! Manage to also get me some of the Russian 7n6 ammuniton recently ! I would like to try that out.. but I heard they are corrosive.
The accuracy of AK74 varries and I have 4 AK74 of different variants and some rifle likes certain ammo better than the other. But I would say it is a 2MOA accuracy! not as good as M16 ! but adequate for man size target up to 300 meter/
