Anyway, I'm not sure who's the worse of the two evils, PAS or UMNO. UMNO is a serious pain in the neck due to their erratic, immature and emotional way, but the PAS is not really better, from their party line, they apparently regard Singapore as a renagade state (and given their hardliner nature, they would probably try to take us if they were in charge). In a statement, the PAS guy remarked that the giving away of Singapore was a "great crime". So what he's saying in a sense is that our existence as a state is criminal and not reconized as legal or valid in their view. Prehaps we should alter their views a little through "peace through superior firepower"?

i suspect the msians themselves started the topic...... come to think of it, how come they know of the thread and published it in a matter of hours......... obviously they planned this story even before the topic has started. the intention is to create more tension....such evil thoughts is beyond redemption..... maybe out IT people can do a trace of the topic IP address..... i would not be surprise if it really originates from people up north.

First of all, Longbows too can be shot down. There are a 101 ways an attack helicopter can be taken down. Shot down by aircraft being one of them... and ploughing into trees being another.
IF the RSAF does not achieve air-superiority, the Longbows are gonna be very "exciting" things to be in... -

The reason why they took offense with the PAP-Youth is that they are managing the site with all the war talk, and that they are from the PAP.
For all you know, those PAP Youth are borrowing comments from this sgForums and using it over in their forums. -

Have you forgotten that they have been educated in "Bahasa Melayu"...... oops, too small for them...... so they must call it by the name: "Bahasa Malaysia"
They have problems reading, understanding and speaking English; and probably need an Oxford Dictionary to define every single word written in the book, and then translate it into Bahasa again, each word mentioned in the Oxford to find the closest meaning in Bahasa.
What we take as "sovereignty" as "supreme independence", may allow them preference in choosing to understand the term as "royal privilege" in their own feudal setting.
The book "Defending the Lion City" was probably sitting on someone's desk, awaiting interpretation that takes more then two years for it to be RE-written in Bahasa.
Then again, with the reinterpretation of the various words in Bahasa, the original weight of the choice of words by the original author will no longer be the same.
Little wonder that this book now should agitate the Malaysian Malay community more then the other Malaysian communities. -
