Data feed can help to assist the accuracy of the multiple launched rockets, by changing its flight mid-course with new targeting data.

his meaning is: he does not want to hurt civillians...but if u have a war with SG, it is impossilbe to avoid that....thats why malaysia wont ever attack singapore unless attacked first... -

The Singapore Air Force and Navy has always purchased equipment and systems to aligned closely with those of the USA.

DD(X) Decision Shows The Way For Australian Navy Enhancements

Raytheon Company, as a partner to Northrop Grumman Corporation, has been awarded the contract as systems integrator for the US NavyÂ’s next-generation surface combatant ship called DD(X).
YesterdayÂ’s decision by the US Government Accounting Office to confirm the US NavyÂ’s decision to award the DD(X) destroyer contract to the Gold Team, led by Northrop Grumman and with Raytheon as the combat systems integrator, opens a window into the future for Royal Australian Navy combat systems according to Raytheon Australia Managing Director Mr Ron Fisher.
Mr Fisher described the decision as being "as significant as the joint strike fighter" for future naval warships and said, "The combat systems for DD(X) will usher in a revolution in technology for the next generation of naval ships which will redefine the architecture of ship computing systems and, together with other advanced technologies, will allow the operation of warships by smaller crews. Crew size is the most significant driver for the cost of a warship over its operational life."
"While recognising that the US DD(X) program is unlikely to be mirrored here in Australia, the technology developed for the DD(X), particularly that of the combat system, could allow the Australian Navy to make a generational leap for its next major surface combatants."
Raytheon will be responsible for the total systems engineering, software development, and combat system of the DD(X). In addition, the company will build and test a dual frequency radar suite, an integrated solid-state communications system, an integrated anti-submarine and mine warfare system, a revolutionary vertical launching system, and a multi-mission total system computing environment.
Mr Fisher said, "Raytheon Australia aims to be the pre-eminent systems integrator in the region; leveraging the technology and R&D base of our parent company to provide leading edge and innovative solutions for naval and aerospace platforms, and command and control systems. W e will continue to work with the Australian Defence Force to ensure that they have access to the most advanced technology and capable systems worldwide."
In America, Representative Martin T. Meehan a member of the House Armed Services committee, praised the decision saying, "The DD(X) will revolutionise US sea power and Raytheon will be a key provider of leap-ahead technologies."
Raytheon Australia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company, a global technology leader in defence, government and commercial electronics, and business and special mission aircraft.

It will be quite unlikely for the equipment to be 100 percent French, not after our short term experience with the trial order of the French built AMX-10.
At this stage, nothing is mentioned as to how the Frigates are being fitted, and the piece posted is just pure speculation for purpose of discussion. -

the other group are those malaysian immigrants and uneducated singaporeans who have little or no military knowledge and tends to see everything in terms of size....
these peoples are the weak link in singapore's psychological defence...
the malays in this instant ... constitutes a serious weak link in singpaore's total defence...
we need to tear down infrastructures in singapore that was built on the basis of race or religion... and mix the races completely... madrasahs should be shut immediately and all schools should have a quota system like the HDB system... that will increase the malays chances of going into top JCs and subsequently into top universities...locally or oversea...
all religious sermons (muslims or others) should be vetted by the president's religious harmony team to ensure mutual respect for all religion and apolitical.
religious schools should conduct cross courses to open the minds and views of other religions like the way SAF merge the 3 forces OCT during OCS with the aim of achieveing greater understanding and collaboration... especially between the muslims, catholics, christians judaism and buddism and taoism. -

This is about the closest guarded information that has not even been made clear to those whom I am in contact with in the industry, and these guys are supposed to be in the thick of the action - unless they are sworn to secrecy.
Perhaps it will be wonderful if you can share your source of information.
It is difficult to imagine the Singapore Navy having to cope with different equipment makes and types being installed across the fleet of mixed vessel types - unless the new equipment is a clear advantage over present weapon system or battle management system for which this vessel type is purposefully being built for the Singapore Navy to gain a battle advantage.
With this in mind, your posts will be correct insofar as the equipment (which you have mentioned) has never been used before by the Singapore Navy, and will give her an edge over the future combat scenarios. -
