Why are some threads removed without letting people know?

  This is a thread which I seek some answers. Few weeks ago, I noticed that the thread concerning scout and recce was removed without any notification. Today when I logged on to read about postings in Police Special Ops, I found out that it had been removed. Perhaps the moderators could explain this. At least inform the people that the thread is not suitable to be discussed and it will be removed.

  Thanks for replying and taking note of this issue. However, may I ask if the reasons/causes for the "sudden disappearance" of some threads will be disclosed to us? I hope that this "sudden disappearance" of threads will not be repeated without prior notification or else it may discourage other people from posting on this forum.

  Just a suggestion, will the mods please start a new thread titled:
  'Threads removed'
  
  and please state the title of threads removed and reasons to justify their removal. . .else its very unfair to the people who posted these threads, especially since many threads posted in military nuts are of real world events and concerns.
  
  Make these forums democratic. . . not a 'moderator haven' . . .
