At this moment, 02:30hrs, UK forces are reported to be inside the city of BASRA, and securing the oil fields to the north of the city.
Intensive aerial bombings are going on in Baghdad, but the civil infrastructures are not targetted, so as not to worsen the plight of the Iraqi, and to win their support for their own liberation by the US-UK forces.
However, infrastructure that has dual use and are deemed important for the Iraqi military, are systemetically targetted and being destroyed.
