The church can handle as much people as the Kallang theather i think maybe more as it also had a courtyard.Maybe not 50k though =)

Yeah, i would want to read more about Napoleon. Was in borders today looking at the usual, think my next area to dive in would be the celts and gauls. Curently looking around for stuff about Ayn Jalut. Read an interesting article about Hashasins, you remember that 6 or 12 men unit in MTW. Apparently they were assasins who smoked hash(?) were led by Hassan i-bin Sabbah (or old man of the mountain). seriously heh

Yeah ate pork, fought for bought muslims and christians alike and finally wiped out by the mameluks. Although most of them are already dead by then when the mongols took alamut(sp?)

It can be said..that the advent of Gunpowder and firearms caused a new revoluntary change in the designs of fortress and planning.
Firearms and weaponry had caused the fall and collaspe of many Empires/tribes. -
Yeah arquebuses brought and end to mass pike formations although scotish rebels with broadswoard and sheild continue to score victory over the english musket until the advent of the bayonet
Cannon itself was often attributed to have brought the end to feudalism. feudal lord no longer safe behind castles. Although better manned cities was able to erect these huge earthern ramps in front of the walls to cushion the cannon shots. -
The most typical of the new designs for fortresses is the star shape with out lying ramparts of triangle shape.The triangle makes it harder to aim while the star shape makes it so that each section of the wall could be supported by to other sections.And in turn they were supported by the small outlying ramparts!
