Ways to Counter Malaysia's MLRS??

Hmmm just curious... i thought singapore have Spy satelite(or going to have) can those identify MLRS before its fires or after it fires
and if it does..... are uav still needed?? please Enlighten me

UAV will always be needed due to their better loiter time and can be called on demand unlike Sat's -
the optus C1 satelite is not under SG control....its part and parcel of the deal inorder to get the aussie gov approval. Optus manages the satelite....not the SingTel.

BTW back to the original question. Destroy as many as possible in the opening rounds of the war. Those will be out of the equation. Simultaneously scout for and put under obersvation possible launch sites, and have special forces/air assets/counterbattery assets(if possible) in place close enough to attack and destroy once a launch has been detected.
Not a foolproof plan by any means. But the best I can think of -

So there is no 24 hours/day coverage.
A commander worth his salt will know the schedule of such flypass and will know how to conceal his assets from such satellite at the appropriate time. -

yep spy Sat's are used more to see fixed targets like a base or something.....for everything else a UAV or Spy plane like the U-2 is used.......and i think we should buy a Few U=2's and TR-1's!!!! just to piss of the neighbours who cant shoot it down
