The term "Mechanised Infantry" is used to describe the main composition of a unit. In this case, it just indicates that that division is more heavily composed of IFVs and IFV-mounted troops, the way "Armoured" refers to a division being more tank based, or "Motorised" being more on troops being truck-mounted.
IIRC mechanised=Motorised......both have at least 1 armour regiment(or group) while the rest of the troops are vehicle mounted
IE the 3rd infantry division(Mechanised) fighting in Iraq
An Armoured Division is a divsion made up completely of armoured vehicles and usually consists of less troops then an Mechanised infantry.
