  This was reported in Asian Military Review. AMAP ADS looks like a very good system, but question is why only SAF & no one purchasing it. In development for many years already and has given some very impressive live demonstrations of its capabilities. Looks like SAF is launch customer - ie guinea pig

  alot of rifles are better then M4, but the americans still stick with it.

  sometimes, being the best doesnt mean you will be selected... too many politics and behind the scene palm greaseing.

  look at malaysia's PT-91, it doesnt stand a chance against the leopards, but someone was said to have got a big fat retirement fund over it prior to stepping down.
