I did my NS with SAF, so I'm familiar with the items carried there. I am also into knives and think the Victorinoxes (Bantam and OH Trailmaster) are excellent value.
So my question, besides the obvious differences in uniforms, what differences in equipment are there between the 2? In particular are there different models of folding / utility knives available in Hometeam eMart?
Also most SAF emarts take walk-in customers, are the HT eMarts the same too, or do they only take orders online and serve mainly as collection points?
@The Code... I can only access the SAF emart as I was from Guards, I can't see the HomeTeam eMart selection, that's why I'm wondering if there's any differences in the selection of equipment available between HomeTeam eMart and SAF eMart.
Anyone from HomeTeam (SCDF / SPF) can answer my queries? What kinds of folding knife is available in your eMart? Please include pics thanks!
Please call the 24/7 NS hotline at 1800-3676767 to speak to a customer service officer.
@eac... thanks but that's a general hotline they don't take emart queries.
If you want to order anything in the eMart online, just go to the NS portal : http://www.ns.sg and log in with your Singpass (If you didn't have Singpass account, go to the Singpass website to register or check their counter location to register physically).
Once you are inside NS Portal, you will see the eMart column where you can check your balance and items available online, it also have an link on the outlet locator where there are an list of stores' contact and address where you can physical get the item.
Do notice that if you want to access to eMart on camp, you will need to get SAF 100 (or Esaf 100) by appointment before you can get in.
