Maybe eagles are part of the routine USAF deployment....Btw, Cope Tiger 2003 just ended last may. Here's a link to some pics from that ex. Got a nice pic of lineup of superskyhawks.Originally posted by duotiga83:is it mi or my eyes something wrong? fri i saw F-5 landing with F-15C i think....
Twin tails? Could be Aussie Bugs, they seem to love stopping by SG. Doubt its Eagles, they're not involved in FPDA and I think its unlikely they'll schedule a Sling together with Flying Fish.Originally posted by duotiga83:is it mi or my eyes something wrong? fri i saw F-5 landing with F-15C i think....

Here you go! And in case anyone is wondering, the AETI hangar pics were all taken with the permission of the base RPs presentOriginally posted by IAF:come now...a man must learn to share his pleasures. remember to post them dude!

Nope, the Ecureuil and Skyhawk are ground instructional airframes at AETI. The Ecureuil was retired in the mid-90s IIRC.Originally posted by eurofighter:Simply beautiful! The Ecureuils are still in service?
That's what i thought...skyhawk's too shinyOriginally posted by Viper52:Nope, the Ecureuil and Skyhawk are ground instructional airframes at AETI. The Ecureuil was retired in the mid-90s IIRC.

sorry... just wanna share my view on this EX... as i've been involved in Star fish and Flying fish Ex for quite a few time....Originally posted by IAF:Now that New Zealand's air power has been emasculated by their military-hating feminist PM, maybe planners should hold future exercises in kiwiland. I think that country really needs it more than us poor singaporeans and our dear northern neighbour.![]()
You are right. Thanks for clarificationOriginally posted by NDU:sorry... just wanna share my view on this EX... as i've been involved in Star fish and Flying fish Ex for quite a few time....
actually, this EX mainly forcus on 'how we gonna re-act if Indo try to attack Malaysia and Singapore.' alot of the Ex will forcus on these area...
as for NZ and Aust... we would have KAKADU EX, which involved alot more countries which we assume that while they were being attack...
welcome IAF... but i mention this before and some of them dont agree with meOriginally posted by IAF:You are right. Thanks for clarification
Its is not even an SU. It has the twin UHF blades just behind the cockpit (ie. it was an ex-USN A-4B (aka A-4S-1 in RSAF designation) rather than the current ex-USN A-4C that SU is based on). It hasn't got the radar warning receiver under the nose, no new HUD, no air-to-air refuelling probe and no side protruding inlet on the air intake for cooling F404 among other things.Originally posted by duotiga83:looks like is refurbishdamn look so brand new.......

I bet this is a pre-upgrade A4 that has been condemn to static display and ground training purposes.
