The person or persons who designed the "Ribbons" for the Singapore medals, did not have too much inspiration, as they all looked nearly alike - with similar narrow vertical lines of almost equal numbers, in near similar background colors, or almost total look alike, with little differentiation.
When anyone with more then three decorations worn as ribbons, and if they happen to be of the same design, it will be confusing.
Compared to the ribbons, medals and decorations from the other countries - especially from Australia, Canada, England, USA and even some from the Middle East and South Americas, these countries seem to be able to produce medals that are inspirational and befitting the achievement of the receipients.
