Joining the Singapore Youth Flying Club

Gentlemen, i know this is not exactly military related, but please bear with it.
I tried calling up the SYFC hotline, i tried emailing, and no one answered me.
Does anybody know where to get the application form and how is the arrangement like in the syfc?
Btw, what are the chances of entering the airforce as a pilot once i get my private pilot license?

not too sure about the airforce part but since you are at SP you can go to the SYFC booth at the hall for this cca week.But you'd have to join a queue......and ofcause pass the medical.The queue is something like 1 year i think i'm not too sureOriginally posted by CenturionMBT:Gentlemen, i know this is not exactly military related, but please bear with it.

What arrangements are you talking about? -
There are many ways to get a ppl in singapore.
1 - join the yfc. free for everything cos rsaf pays for it. but you are a fucking dog ok. you willingly sign your freedom away and become their slave. you need to cope with your flying with them and your studies(if you are a student). the medical i not sure but more strict than CAAS req cos they looking for air force pilots thus the medical more gear towards airforce req. you get to fly the CT4 which is aerobatic capable. i've seen the thing take off from seletar. powerful machine!
2 - join the 2 local flying clubs, singapore flying club and seletar flying club(former SIA FC). not cheap, can check their websites for the fees. but you get to fly when you like and even who u like. i heard some members choose which instructor to fly with. you can't do that in yfc. sfc instructors are mostly from yfc helping out so all are part timers. seletarfc get one full time instructor.
3 - join the elite flying club in johre. cost are 1/2 u pay in singapore. only thing is that u need to travel up and covert your license to sing one once you got your msia one. not sure of instructors there
