Perhaps its the 1206 culture of the SAF that sometimes make people so kiasuOriginally posted by Hornet145:And what do you think of SG pilots? Do they have more balls than brains? I personally think they have more balls. Why I say that is becos our pilots belly land and stay in the aircraft during that time. And when they burst a tyre, they do the same thing and not ejecting. Really got balls but kinda stupid too. But I still prefer them having balls than brains.![]()

Pronounced as "Twelve-Oh-Six". Something you don't want the CQ or storeman to say to you when you return eqmt or lack of it after a field exerciseOriginally posted by SingaporeMacross:what's 1206 culture?
US did get Russian jets ages ago, but I'm not too sure whether they use them for training or just strip down to study.Originally posted by wd1:even USAF dont use russian fighters for aggressor training... they use their own F5s F16s and israeli kfirs. perhaps borrowing some F15s might work (similar size, capability to su30mk...
As for the luftwaffe migs...from accounts in Air Force Monthly and Code One magazine, they're are really in hot demand everywhere. But then again, don't forget it's former east german pilots who drive those birds. Perhaps there's a 'waiting list' for red flag participants to fight these warbirdsOriginally posted by Hornet145:US did get Russian jets ages ago, but I'm not too sure whether they use them for training or just strip down to study.I'm not sure which side we fought on during the red flag exercise but if we fought against German Migs, it will be good. Because I heard they are very good in those. I also heard that they are told not to use the full capability of the aircraft. Don't ask me why.
