are u a tankee then? frankly, i've never met any NSF that's not lazy in at least some ways...Originally posted by tiggersgd:are you a tankee yourself?? and how do you know tankees are lazy?![]()
yes, i'm one of the hardworking tankees that know when to laze around and when to be hardworking.Originally posted by CX:are u a tankee then? frankly, i've never met any NSF that's not lazy in at least some ways...
but lets just say that i have a lot of experience with the MILES sets. the quality and functionality leaves much to be desired, but that is not just due to the technology. there are other human factors as well.
the zero-ing process is tedious to say the least... and it takes a really patient and experienced person to really do it properly. wouldn't surprise me if some just can't bo bothered... besides, why should u when there are exercise controllers around? human psychology plays a big part in the success, or failure of many technologies. the MILES is seldom an exception.
yup, the miles we have is tedious and its time we get an upgrade on it. that includes the infantry miles as well.Originally posted by CX:but lets just say that i have a lot of experience with the MILES sets. the quality and functionality leaves much to be desired, but that is not just due to the technology. there are other human factors as well.

i'm not sure if its the same FV that you're saying...does it have cameras mounted? its something like france-type....it has a small profile though.Originally posted by SPIKER:Recently I saw ST testing a new tank without turret in LCK area. The chasis seems like a modify version of Bionix but with a lower profile and a much wider track (6 wheel base). The rear of the chasis is slope at about 20 degree downward.
though it is just a chasis without turret, i am quite sure it is that it is the tank that they are going to replace SM1.
It just the chasis without anything. The front have two cupola side by side. One for the driver and one for the commander i suppose.Originally posted by tiggersgd:i'm not sure if its the same FV that you're saying...does it have cameras mounted? its something like france-type....it has a small profile though.
Based on your description, I believe what you have seen was a Bionix AVLB without the bridge .Originally posted by SPIKER:It just the chasis without anything. The front have two cupola side by side. One for the driver and one for the commander i suppose.
The rear of the chasis is slope like that of a hummve jeep use by USA.

No other AFV layout has two hatches on the hull other than a AVLB.
