Fighter pilots are the most elite warriors right? I mean, how come when they do a story on the SOF, the faces are fully concealed in balaclava and dive mask..etc?
do u think theres a necessity to go to such an extent? cos in that case there are alot more people in the saf who shud b protected in that sense. and over-doing this secrecy thing is not good for public image as well as to other countries. what the sof people do is totally different from what the pilots do, and i guess thus their secrecy. in any case we are also expressing our confidence in our geo-political and security situation in that we are not in any situation like israel is in.
in the end, saf would be best to judge how much the pilots and other personnel are worth and how much security is required for them. with the millions poured in to train each of them, u can be rest assured they wil protect their assets until they themselves r fully satisfied.
