what the hell? i called the BMTC n they ask me to go the new unit on my reporting day. then show them my status n medical appointment letter. from there how are they going to settle my situation? I don't want to waste my time as an OOC in the unit.
anyone has any past experience or any ideal what i should do? thinking of going to CMPB to report about this posting error first.... -

i'm not combat fit coz of a slipped disc, not supposed to be deployed outside the camp...
and i'm the COMBAT MEDIC of an ADA unit which is never ever in the camp

I suggest go to unit first and OOC, I think go to CMPB to complain won't help one, most likely ask you to go to unit and OOC too. CMPB sort these things very slow one. -
I'm Pes A but injured my knee meniscus about 3weeks ago. so the FFI i was stated Unfit. Thn I'm att B status for the last 3 weeks until POP. was assigned by the MO to c the specialist yesterday and he extended my status till next yr 7th jan so that i have enough rest for my knee. n by then i have an appt to decide whether I have to do operation. but if I OOC in the unit, I have to do so much "shit" job n that will worsen my knee only. no choice.. tml I go CMPB try my luck... beta to juz go to camp and report 1st. dun bother to go to cmpb.my time got a few like tat with att b 10 mths and excuse lower limbs posted in 2.
den on the 1st day they juz tell the oc and csm went to the mo to endorse...after abt FEW months a few abt 1 year later... den they got new pes status...meanwhile they got assigned to do simple duties like armskote, storeman and clerk
BTW chances are u r gonna br stuck in guards unit...cos my frens even after downgraded still got only posted within the camp or guards unit

Seems like a co*k-up somewhere...you're practically useless if you have knee problems since Recce gotta walk damn long distances.....
Better to have your medical problem checked out first.
With your knee like this, you might even have problems getting through CST; not to sound condescending, but I do know the expectations, as a few forumers also do, about recce units....like you, I was also from Guards.... 7 SIB BRC...sigh....good ol' days...
