i live in the cck area, recently, i see the camp i can see from my block(the camp is suppose to be close last year liao) have about 20 tanks being move into it, i can see the combat engeneer modified M60(which num nut say we dun have MBT one, haha, jk jk).....a hell lot of those ugly french made models(dun bother to remember the name)....and SOMETHING THAT LOOKS LIKT THE PALADIN!!!!!!!!! can anyone explain? thx!

Is the camp u are talking about Keat Hong? the left side or the right side of the track?

M728 CEV are supposed to be with 38th SCE, kind of funny to be found in Keat Hong,Did you see the M60AVLB as well?
Funny that so many types of AFVs going to Keat Hong Camp, the SPH you see might not be Primus/Paladin, could you confimed sighting, I think it should be much larger than Paladin.
As for the AMX-10s, I heard it was a total failure, therefore rumour to be retired as well.
My guess is that most probably that all these AFVS are being put out of operation & being mothballed in Keat Hong......

I was from there.
1 side used to be Logistic base. shifted to Tengeh now. all the old equipment is are now stored there cos no place to store them before scraping them yet. U can probably find all the old 3 tonners there too. AMX10 are used by the guards to secure beach head so i dont think they will retire yet. cos they are the only tanks we have that can swim. Those you saw are probably the amx-13sm1. which means that the new light tank is almost ready to roll.
the other side is still active as an armoured camp.
the whole area will probably be developed by 2010 building HDB so still got few years to go. -

ohok. so you are talking about Keat Hong Camp 1? If really Open house there. Maybe I will go back also. havent gone back since ORD. Look for my old OC/CSM.
