Rare picture of SAR-21 with foregrip.

Well I've used a SAR-21 with a bipod during my training days but thats quite long ago. I have not come across a pic of that yet. Thats rare.

Well, i believe this 'SAR 21 with foregrip' is a rare version as probably none of us has seen or even heard of it unlike the more popular M203, P-Rail, Saw versions. This justifies the use of the word 'rare'.

Hey, isn't that pic from the article about the SAF shooting team?
Most prob, this is a specially modified SAR-21 for competitive shooting. Doesn't seem to have the laser aimer too. -

U understand the meaning rare? I doubt u dun.
U can find that picture from pioneer , but perhaps u cant find it anywhere else....[b]thus it is rare. U understand?

I have saw a newspaper article(quite some time ago,like 4years) that SAR21 have many variants such as the LMG,M203,sharpshooter.... versions. However, i do not have the chance to be trained in the SAR21 or have seen any of the above-mentioned variants. Can anyone provide any updates?

Hey brothers-in-arms,u guys stop e agrument bout which is betta e SAR-21,TAR-21 or Styer Aug.If you have all gotten your specs. right,you will notice this,the SAR 21 is the one and only one rilfe to be fitted with a built-in Laser Aiming Module[LAM] and till now,is still the one and only weapon with an in-built LAM unlike the Israeli TAR-21 or Austrain Styer AUG.And also,please do note that,the TAR-21 was initially Israeli designated as the M203 and was changed at the last minute to avoid conflic between the rifle and grenade launcher.

although i have seen and test fired SAR-21 variants that comes with integral folding bipods during trials in my NS days... -
The LAM is not integrated for fast changing of the unit in the field if it's damaged/unserviceable.
The Steyr, M4 & M16 has some problems but it's still a good weapon and effective.
The changing of semi & auto is very awkward. -

Face it....Sg only bought the TAR 21 .....redesigned it...plus adding the troublesome adapter for M16 mags..bla....bla....waalllaaaa.....SAR 21.SAR 21 good weapon indeed.....100 percent Sg design????????DONT THINK SO
Here's what Jane's int'l defense news had to say abt the SAR-21. Of note is the statement quoted below. I guess that puts to rest abt whether the SAR-21 is a rip-off or is it something unique...
"Unique design: Although the SAR-21 bears superficial resemblance to other bullpup assault rifles, such as the Steyr AUG and IMI Tavor, it is a unique design that is similar to its cousins only in that it is of bullpup configuration. "
