WITs suggestion to the SAF anyone?

my coy needs to submit a quota for this WY..
so i could do with some suggestions.

1. Fire all officers who we all know unoffical job description is to sit there, shake leg, and earn money. Will save SAF tons of money.
2. Scrutinize ST Technologies, do you have any idea how much money they fleece SAF for??!!
3. Make black tape standard issue for every person in the SAF, the unending uses of blacktape to solve military problems (like getting our F-16 Sidewinder missiles to stick on the plyons) will save tons of cash.
4. Cut the pay of a certain member of the monarchy who is in the military by 5 percent, we can have enough cash to buy 5 more Stealth Frigates and the like.
5. Hire PRCs in our army, they are willing to work far cheaper then conscripts.
6. Use pickup trucks with .50cal and stuff mounted on them (technicals) to replace our 350 SM1 tanks, probably far more effective and cheaper as well. (Sadly it's almost so true it's not really funny)
And of course:
CUT OUT THE WITS ITSELF, DO THEY HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH MONEY AND TIME THE SAF WASTES ON IT? -

it depends on ur service and vocation? cant possibly give u an airforce wit suggestion when u r wif the army? and some arty related suggestion wont work wif the infantry as well.Originally posted by kAdEn:K k...

I remember someone from one of the poly designed a cool fieldpack.
So you should be out there looking at bags shops and stuff to get your idea for better SBO. -

but think saf is already looking into this. hopefully wat the peacekeepers r using now will be phased in for general adoption soon. -

safety: how ur unit run 2.4? along the road? how to increase safety for this kind of runs? wat abt putting signages for 2.4 route so newbies noe how to run? same for soc.
company line: any way of arranging stores or wpns so as to make it more efficient or make accounting easier?
equipment: as laurence mentioned, improvement in sbo (need not be as complicated as total revamp) or full pack? r u in support coy? if so any ways of making all the extra stores and eqpt for sp coy wpns easier to be accounted for, found, brought, replaced, or repaired?
oh btw, all these are more for the rifle and sp coys. if u from hq coy den abit more diff. wich coy u frm?

Actually I saw two types of SBO before, one was used by CE in my camp, which has a belt and you can hook up all the pouches on it.Originally posted by wuming78:x 2

But I find the belt rather wide and maybe hard, plus only few pouches can hook up on it, making it rather inadequate.So it look rather skeleton.
The other type is the one we commonly used in BMTC and other units. Although I like it having enough pouches to carry all the neccessary gears, its hard to fit it up and attach all the pouches and slings together. Imagine we have to even use black tape to tie up loose end as well as making it tight fit!
Hope someone come up with better SBO. Anyone know about the field pack that appears in newspaper few years ago? -

However the "unorthodox' one is actually a standard item only in certain units. In fact my friends were issued it from their own unit at their enlistments. Different units, different needs I guess.
I ask for the rationale of that type. Because its really a skeletal SBO, with only two water bottle pouches and one big pouch for poncho, my friend said thats as Combat Engineers, they require less small accessories and gears than infantry guys.
In fact I heard it is also used by armour guys, but I cant confirm.
Not only the design, but the material appears thicker and more robust than our standard ones. -

Cause SBO means just that, Skeletal Battle Order, not the webbing itself....which corresponds with FBO, Full Battle Order, that includes the Field Pack. -

Thanx for your contribution, never really thought about the project in that aspect....was mostly concentrating on coming up with a product that could be useful to us, must have been linked to my business background back in poly
My NS's not that great but i guess its always to savour the sweetness of it only after you've completed it...so right now i'll just keep on enduring -

i'm just a reservist so no one cares if we send in stuff like that or not.. mostly ignored anyway...
can someone write in to replace the fricken new SBO with the OLD ONE??
the new one is useless, flimsy, hard to put on, hard to take off, and does not fit anybody in the whole bloody unit.. -

I think the belt is the one with holes one right? Think it resembles the one worn by US Army Rangers together with their RBA kit. And US Army Special Force in their SPEAR outfit also? -

Since our webbing is copied from the Israeli Ephod, can follow them and upgrade it to a vest in the latest incarnation .. haha -
