  Does anyone have any books to recommend? Esp. those with accounts of the gulf war .. vietnam. Like books written by generals on tactics and equipment used? thanx

  Don't read books written by generals -- read books written by those below them. Try Col David H. Hackworth's "Steel my Soldier's Hearts" for a look at what went wrong in Vietnam -- my favorite military book.

  go to kinokuniya at ngee ann city. there are a lot of good books there including the US SOF handbook and the US Marine Sniper Course Book
