There're a lot of those stuff that we NSF have to endure.
I was doing my reservist training a few years back and this ITC Captain called this attached PTE signaler stupid, your mother never teach, CB and all those stuff.
Doing IPPT in Maju camp, the regular PTI called this guy stupid, I know this guy and he was a doctor in a govt hospital.
He said to me, never mind just endure for a few hours and I can just get on with my life. He's working in UK now, I don't think he'll be back here anytime soon. -
Just forget about it lor, they scold scold also nothing mah, just ignore. As long as u feel that what ever they say is not true, what care about these lower intellect people who scold people.

It is just a scold . actually if u look at it openly , there isn't really a need to rebuke e officer.
not siding with him but everyday storesman and guards and anybody else kana scolding for damn stupid things ; forgot where he put the keys ; forgot to sign in and out .
what come out from his mouth u never knows and it notimp anyway unless he did it obviously like pointing his finger at ur head and demand u to admit u are stupid .
in fact u can expect all kinds of oral insult in there .
but at least they should'nt do any obvious action like u cannot do this or u deserve more duties for who u are or keep arrowing u . [/img] -

Personally i feel tat human right is not practice well in SAF, once my staff sgt told me tat dun try to challenge the big f**k in SAF even its the big f**k faults coz they will find ways to "revenge" indirectly... 3 mths back my platoon is having a interaction talk with CO... CO wanted everybody to voice out our views with the promise tat he will accept all franks opinions n views. At first nobody wanna talk coz scared tat said something wrong will get extra but after hearing the promise CO make several of the men voiced out their views n opinions. Toward the end of the day after the talk, our sgt told us tat some of the men from my platoon will be confine by the CO during weekend due to some of the too direct n frank comment he heard during the talk.... I was v angry... How can a CO some sort backstab my platoon. How can a 2 crabs break a small promise he made...

Its precisely these kinds of people that realise that they can only survive inside the army..to leave for the realworld would mean they get shredded to ribbons by people like us..therefore they stay and propagate the insulting waste of our tax money...

Beside tat, i also feel tat SAF use all our money to pay high wages to those useless regular n scumbag of SAF, they r overpaid by accordance to their rank but not their talent n work contributed... Observing from some of the high ranking regular behaviour, really feel sorry tat our mother, father n our hard earn money tat contributed via tax etc flow to the pockets of these SAF scums...

Before enlist into army, i always has a feeling tat being in army really suaive n proud of myself being in army especially after reading n watching the advertistments in train, broucher n TV. But after enlisted for a few months, i had enough.. i really had enough of all of those SAF craps n the cock up system, really cannot make it, totally different from what i feel at first, now only can look forward to ORD asap, really wanna get out of this so call self proclaim "world class n first class" organisation tat make all Singaporean proud<--- F**k U!!!, all these words only can trick the naive ones n those tat haven't been thru army...

SAF is all abt wayang... Even crab rank also wayang, SAF only pay high money to those who is capable in study n degree holder but not to those who really have the talent n well performed soldiers, dunno wat the fuck m i doing in a wayang organization... Paying so much money, our tax payer hard earned money to the wayang in SAF... What protecting our country, bull shit, SAF juz wanna show other countries how capable we r but actually we r not as gd as they think, sending troops to other countries like iraq is also all abt wayang... when come to war i dun think many of us have the will to fight...

Those who are frustrated by the training and tough rubbing during the FIRST TWO YEARS and SIX Months of continuous NSF Trainiing, will be angry with all the WAYANG.
It is surprising that those who have MATURED - into their late Twenties, Thirties, and Forties - with a family, work, and have matured to the POLITICS of this region, will see that our SAF is NOT entirely 'WAYANG'.
The 'Wayang' that we see, is basically due to the tolerance given to existing 'Wayang' by ALL the CURRENT PERSONNEL in the SAF.
Put the 'Wayang' right by writing to the TOP, the very TOP - to the Minister of Defense, or even the Prime Minister, of what you see is wrong with the SAF, and you will see that the response can be very POSITIVE when the matter concern the security and capability of the SAF and the security of Singaporeans. -
Cool off dude, politics exist everywhere. For most people, living is all about acting anyway. One tends to have different identities, assuming different responsibilities in different situations. We must remember that we are made up mainly of civilian soldiers and of course we are never tested in war before. But do we really want a war just to show how good we are? Deterrence and political alliance are still the best policies now. True, it might be wayang when Singapore sends troops to Iraq, East Timor etc etc but it is not just as simple as showing off to the world.
When one grows older, one's mentalities and priorites will change. There are definitely things which are worth protecting for here
