The most dramatic was when its commandos invaded its high security air missiles base in Bukit Batok overlooking the Straits of JohoreBukit Batok has suddenly and quite inexplicably moved to the Straits of Johor. Truly, this is such.
That's because this "famed" columist isn't really famed, has no grasp of how international diplomacy is really played out, handling logic and facts and is still stuck in his own notions that political interaction between Singapore and Malaysia is being played out with inter kumpung politics where big brother-small brother is all important and daredevil raids to steal the other kumpung's chickens to teach them a less is entirely possible.Originally posted by Jazzswing:It dosen't make sense..if they m'sians really did that..would'nt we retaliate? Any why would a 'famed columnist' make such a article that might diminish his credibility when he cant really back it up.
haha.. i was abt to say that..Originally posted by Ole:anyway do they even know where Bukit Batok is, it is in the middle of the land, where to overlook the straits. even using telescope also cannot see the sea lah.
the infiltrated of the airfields happens in 1995........Originally posted by tvdog:I heard a story from a commando friend of mine long ago.
As an excercise to test the security of our own airfields, a small detachment of cdos infiltrated one of our military airfields and after overpowering the guards, splashed paint on parked fighter planes to simulate their destruction.
One guard who resisted was beaten up.
Whether this and the Malaysian version are true stories or not, I don't know.
