At the AA2004 there is this booth about the new Russian-Indian missile the Bramos. It looks pretty cool as it can be launched from surface ships, planes, silos and mobile launchers. I am not sure whether its a ASM or have other applications as well. Do Singapore have a need for such a supersonic missile?

Here's the question I have in.......my simple mind
If Brahmos......[b] WHY do you need a F-15 / Rafale / Typhoon as well?[\b]
Seems to me if SAF have Brahmos-S, all you need is a ex-SIA A310 with a cargo bay 'fitted'with doors

The Airbus is too vulnerable due to its size and lack of speed. Moreover, it is unsuitable for low level penetration. All this would make it easy meat for any enemy combat air defences.

That depends on Brahmos-S range specifications and how far away is the intended target.
A-310 is nothing but a simple truck. Don't have to fly low and close up......
