Not Necessary! if lockheed martin secured large oversea order (Confidently a YES) for F-35. Involving companies like bae, united Technology etc bound to expand their production plants worldwide manufacturing aircraft components so guess the output from the production line will speed up dramatically. Oh of course, Raytheon will definitely love hugging and kissing F-35 for that orders for AESA radar and Aim-9x will be sky rocketing, grate to hire more americans.
Munition procurement will be riding on the expressway.

Actually, F15T is a new version of the infamous Strike Eagle. The bomb carrying capacity alone is almost unrival until now, 1 F15 can delivered maybe around 3-4 Skyhawk bomb load with far more deadly accuracy under all weather conditions. The true ground attack capability of F15E is well demostrated in the modern battlefields, eg Bosnia, Gulf wars etc. It really delivered the punch to the critical enemies installation at the right time with highest precision irregardless of the AA defences.
It is a quantum leap in our strike capability, and extended our punch to a further reach. Despite that F15 is an old palne, there is still a good 20 years of service life ahead. Already USAF is not going to get the YF22 / BF-23 planes in large numbers. Most likely, F15 will go along with these new gen planes with extensive modifications eg technologies havest in F15 ACTIVE and F15 stealth demostrator.
My only complaint is that F15 price may be a bit steep for us. We are certain that RSAF would not afford more than 20 F15T in our inventory. Unless we get free gifts / steep discounts eg warehouse prices from USA for helping them to keep the F15 production line open after 2009. Chosing F15T will strengthen the US-S'pore relationship, and enhance our business relation with states as well. By the way, F15 are OLNY offered to the closest US allies. Currently, only a handful of countries are offered; British (tried but rejected in favour of Tornado F3), Japan (213 planes), Isreal (200+ planes), Saudi (80-120 planes), Korea (40 planes) and Singapore (16-20 planes, 1 sqn will be 8 opeartional planes with 2 spares).
I think the next plane to be replace will be our famous Matchbox Fighter F5E-Tiger II. -
Maybe not all Since F-5 is a relatively small in size they are upgraded and serve well as a reconnaissance plane for the RSAF. Anyway i dont anticipate any major procurement anytime soon but probably additional 154C/154A-1.

i gonna agree with you, our contact will most probably listed under low priority but as long they meet the contacted date required it doesnt matters. anyway all contacts comes with the actual completion date right!!

and also international recognition ... do you know citizens of country X are not allowed to enter Malaysia and Indonesia ... Our close ally Nation X has a very long deep down ties with Singapore. I remembered that my grandpa used to tell me stories about these people from Nation X used to reside in Singapore before the founding of their nation after WW2. You can find a sizable nation X people in Singapore even now; most of them work in banking sector. Moreover, Chinese did help the Nation X people quite a lot, esp there were accounts that chinese diplomats helped the nation X people to escape from N*z^ butchers WW2.

I ponder if there's cooperation when it comes to nuclear weapons.
Israel has over a few hundred nuclear weapons to use , and Singapore , basically being one of the closest ally ; by logic should possess a number
of it.
It would be heartening to know that , if one day , should our military be overwhelmed , by whichever country , our imported weapons would serve as a last stand of survival. -

When you're neighbours include the likes of Germany and England, it's not hard to see why they've lost.
