I'll check out timemachine studio, I've heard about it but yet to check it out. Must do so soon!
If you're going to Orchard Plaza, don't be distracted by the massage parlours! Shop is on 3rd floor to the left of the escalators.

i love dragon modelling ltd (DML), dragon produce the best kits(detailed) in my opinion and the price is cheaper than tamiya! the shop i get my stuff is at millenia walk called timemachine-studio..it deals mainly in dragon products.. action figures, kits etc... -

The orchard store, i find that it is abit small and doesnt have much variety (AFV) ..so.. hehe
and the last one at bugis..thats the LAST place i would go... the stuff there is EXPENSIVE! 10-20 bucks more than timemachine studio and the miniaturehobby -

Excellent work dusterbuster! I have one of those Tamiya T-55s as well, and plan to get a whole bunch more. Lets see, Croatian, Vietnamese, Syrian and a Soviet parade vehicle are what I have planned. Endless possibilities!
Just went to Miniature Hobby today, they just took in new shipments of Academy and Italeri kits, with Revell coming on Monday. Finally picked up the Trumpeter 1/32 F-105D after more than 6 months of attempted resistance! -

Wuz down at the time-machine yesterday ... the range was pretty good ... However the shop wuz a bit small and they featured mainly the 1/6 figurines ... not the self-assembled scale models...

the new shop will only start to operate in 1st of may n it is also at level 3 of marine square...somewhere near the present furniture shops location i think.
The present location will continue to operate until 24-27april.

Glad to find out this topic here. I used to frequent the old modeling shop at Bugis, price was good back then, started with planes, choppers, then aircraft carriers and figures.
One question/problem that's buggin me, how do you guys keep your model dust free????? I kept mine in boxes now in the store room cos, gave up cleaning the dust that's collected. -
