My apologises to those who are offended by my anti-force National Service opinions. Singapore is my country and I love this place too but to me my life is more important. Humans are selfish in nature and I am sure all of you understand that. If you choose to bear grudges against me( Which I think no one has till now.

in my opinion u shldnt be born at all..its better to have a dog..where i can train n able to attack my enemy..

You "apologise" for offending people, then you proceed to exacerbate the situation by telling then they are wrong, not once, but twice. Do you seriously expect people to take your apology to be sincere?
The fact that nobody has posted on the "NS sucks" thread for the last couple of days is a sign that people have lost interest in the topic. After these few days, you put up this post, and that is clear evidence that you are the one being petty - everybody else has gone on to better things, but you alone still choose to harp on this old, tired subject.
Finally, just because YOU are selfish doesn't mean that humans are. Don't go projecting your own shortcomings on better people than you - it's your problem, not theirs. -
Well, it is obvious someone does not understand the term 'unity is strength'. If one wants to adopt an attitude of 'me, myself and I', it is perfectly fine until one realises that in this interrelated world of ours, such a mentality is sure bet for personal extinction.

The main reason for people who don't see eye to eye with your postings is that you have not even been through NS and you are sprouting SHITLOAD of BULLSHIT. Unless you have been through it, then perhaps you can justified your reaction towards NS (same goes for any person who intended to slime NS while not having gone through it).
As for who's in the wrong, does it matter when you are the person who post stupid replies? If you going to say something stupid and make no sense, naturally that's going paint you as a big target board, so quit whinning about it. -

I'm seen my fair share of the likes of you when I was in service, and the only person they succeeded in making more miserable was themselves. The rest of us, just sigh and shake our heads at these pathetic, mal-adjusted losers.
With any luck, you'll snap and end up as another statictic, and put your miserable self and your fellow soldiers out of your respective misery. -

Aiy. dont be too harsh on the boy. Some times it takes NS to wake up ppl's idea. I didn't think very highly of the SAF or NS in the first place. I still don't think very highly of the SAF (esp the kind of regulars they employ). But the perspective towards the reason behind me wearing my number 4 to protect my country has been changed.
think about it in a broader spectrum. If u, someone who is born here, raised here don't defend this country, who will do it? -

Honestly, I don't think highly of the SAF or the entire system in this country, but the fact remains that I'm a Singaporean and have my duty to my country, if not the Party. -
