  automatic smoke grenade launchers. smoke grenades that are electrically fused are placed inside those chambers b4 move out. When required in combat, the commander activates the switch, sends an electrical impulse to the grenade thru the chamber and wah lah. One point to note, the grenade is launched out of the chamber, so do not attempt to obstruct those chambers.
