"Delta" ships?

Heard of talk about some "Delta" naval vessels Singapore has...quite confused over what kind of ship it is...LST or something?
Can someone please fill me in..thanks.. -

No.
Deltas are based on the French hull design but locally modified and whatnot...
Frigates... -
So the stealth design is by France, but five of it will be locally built? One is already built in France right?

btw i oso kinda blur... our new frigate is based on or actually france's la fayette class firgate but why so many names for our frigates?
delta, velox and so on??? -
it IS based on the la fayette design, but its called Delta-class frigates for singapore.. we are going to have 6 of them. 1 of them was built in france and arrived already.

Arrived already? I thought it's still undergoing tests in France. When will it be operationally ready?

I dun think it's operational yet though...crew and systems might still be under going a shake down....what i do know is that it is already sailing....saw it on the news a long time ago..u got an article on it? -
Read an ST article a few months back, said about our defense minister in France to view its launch but still undergoing tests. Or am i slow?
