Since all the gung-ho folks is here.
Due to the recent incidents that happen. Let organised a blood donation. I can check out the place which we can donated blood, and decide a date and we can all go together.
Let do a head count.
So far interested.

actually..i think i got phobia of going for blood donation..
i have not much fear in life..one is blood donation..the other is my nagging mother..
well...since i cant anything abt the nagging...
i can do something abt blood donation...after i gone thru it...i will be FEARLESS!!! tok cock..

time i went and kickstarted my blood donation thing again since my last was an ice-age ago in 2001 (i think)
where we can go? i know of the 2 i used to go to... NUH and the Blood Bank just opposite Outram MRT station..

good thing u came! i've been trying for the pass year to find out where i can donate blog....missed my school 1 though so it would be good if u guys organized one or something

i think there is a restriction on donating blood if you have taken medication (includes panadol)
best to check to see how long ago was it you last took medication before you go donate blood.. else may be a trip wasted...
oh, and they'll not take you blood if you have had surgery done on you in the past 6 months... -

But if you wanna come to Outram and donate to blood bank, just come during office hours will do. The requisite for donors will be the same.
If you are interested to do a 3 hr plus platelet donation PM me, i can help arrange or give you the contact number.
Tried platelet donation before, just be prepared to feel a bit cold when the blood returns back to you while the machine spins and draws out your platelets.
