Downgrade? Job prospects?

  hi all,
  
  my fren recently found out that he got hepetitis b after blood donation...does anyone know if will be downgraded?
  he looks fine by any account i must say...can run jump all...
  also, he dunno whether should downgrade or not coz he heard will affect job prospects in future....is that true?

  has he informed the Unit MO?
  
  Maybe can talk to the MO and ask his professional advice or see a doctor outside and ask abt it

  if he doesn't intend to work in civil sector, then no prob.

  Hi nismoS132, can elaborate? Downgraded PES status only affects you when applying for SAF, Police, Civil Defence and those no need cheong sua occupations like teachers are unaffected. Right?

  yes he is likely to be downgraded if he is a hep b carrier. and no downgrading wont affect his prospects but his hep b condition MIGHT.
