I think usually they will not post u out, becos when u doing your makeup which could be any unit in the formation.
Therefore even you have gone thru a few makeups, you could be doing it with several different unit.
Another thing , all units will most probably suffer some loses of men as years go by due to some NS men went overseas due to oversea job posting or downgraded etc. Therefore your S1 will hold on to whatever men he has.
I think the ways you are to be posted out are that you requested to be posted out to another unit or your unit is to be disbanded.
Another thing, of cos this will not apply to u, if someone was charged to DB, then he certainly will be posted out to another unit so to give him chance to start fresh with another unit.
