u mean brooks are good for running in general?Originally posted by Rachmaninoff:Brooks is my choice due to its light weight and comfortable fit. All the marathons i've run so far were with my trusty Brooks shoes
unfortunately, you don't see many stores selling Brooks ... aside from Queensway where you can get an extremely good bargain

I believed you can buy it at any sport shop... all you need is to have $$Originally posted by tootkiaz:But I am not in army thats y i cant buy ma.
I agree....My NB has got a hole after barely 4 usages in soccer...heh. And I returned to the emart for an exchange (cos they got tag there for warranty period, same as ur combat boots).Originally posted by Ponders:I think Brooks is for the flat footed one, NB is normal.
But anyway, the New Balance ones, i have seen very rapid wear and tear from the recruits.
One month recruits would start having holes to the side of the shoes.
Can u get me the new one by NB resell it to me? I need size 10 / 10.5Originally posted by Moxie:I've got 2 pairs of the older New Balance PT shoes - the blue-grey-white ones with the "Property of SAF"on its tongue. The box lists "M555NS" but I'm not sure if that's the model number.
They're brand new, sized 9 1/2 (US) or 43 (EU). My reservist unit was winding down just as SAF issued us the eMart credits, so everyone of us used the opportunity to stock up mainly on the running shoes. Bought 5 pairs of them myself then, gave away 2 pairs & have worn another pair.
Asking for $25-$30. Email me at [email protected] if you're interested.
It isnt available on the market...Originally posted by erijazz:I believed you can buy it at any sport shop... all you need is to have $$![]()

found it to be light, and rather comfortable. i think its narrower and hence better for running. perhaps tts y its meant for the not-so-flat footed.

Orhx, then nvm le. thanks anyway. If you found no use for the two pairs of NB u can always give it to meOriginally posted by Moxie:Sorry, I stood down in 2001.
