yeah...not bad except i wish channel u can just shove that silly boy-girl romance bit cos' i believe the majority of the viewers just wanna watch hardware and warriors

realise tt TCS and its previous incarnate SBC has made quite a few navy shows. but so far they have only done one airforce show, and not really one army show (other than xing bing xiao zhuan which is more like a depiction of bmt rather than the army)Originally posted by BMEngineer:Navy is trying to recruit more people using this show

I still remember SBC (Old TCS) got a show on police
Channel U got a show on DSTA...
After watching this show......finds that Navy quite interesting....but do remember that a show is a show....a lot of things are 'beautified'

The show sux la. I'm thinking that Media Works is trying to pull strings and 'por lan pa' with gahmen so that maybe they can get grants like Media Corp. The next Media Works / 'por lan pa' show may feature couples having great joy in giving birth (so as to boost our flagging birthrate).

Come to think of it, Ch U has produced a number of shows on SAF.
Before this navy show, there were 2 programs on the Army (one with Michelle visting the various formations and the other is a comedy). Then came the tie-in with DSTA. I also recalled they did a documentary on RSAF. -
So anybody interested in joining the Navy?

the show onli prove one thing. Mediaworks got limited choices in selecting actors in their production. gong xi fa cai, Ix shen and Ann kok couple, this navy show still they couple. haiz.

the filming was nicely done but the shot is once again disjointed.......when are they going to get better script writers!!!SAF shld have let media crop do it loh.....the old navy show they did was so much better even though it was done years ago!!!

The show somehow stimulate my little interest in the Navy. Just went to the Navy website. The Navy badges are nice!!!...especially the Submariner's badge

Is there some flaws in the show, or is it my misunderstanding?
1) Ann Kok's salute is wrong. Her palm was slightly facing outwards (but not as outwards as the hong kong police). In my cca training in school, we were made to practise the correct way of salute over and over agn, which is, tip of fingers pointing to eyebrow, palm tilted ~10 degrees inwards.
2) Her hair wasn't in a bun!! -

and the RSN does fires Harpoon annually, but not much...
