RSAF: Aviation material spec

  hi all , i am considering the above mention vocation, can some one tell mi more abt it ?issit kinda like storeman type? btw after passing out any chances will it be a 8-5 job? how is the advancement like ?

  hmmmm if you're talking about service side... it doesn't pay as much as a tech.

  hm...poly graduate lor...from what the letter mentioned...the starting pay is $1800+ for trainee...after 5 mths of training will be $2020...

  pay sounds so attractive for a store-man, I think it is a more specialised kind.

  AMS earn so much? That's weird. AMS don't earn as much as technicians... they take home about $200 less.
  
  And for the Snr Techs, their starting pay is $1600 nett as a CPL

  ya.. i was kinda attracted by the pay also... and was surpise, from wat the letter says , u will get to learn purchasing also, logistics management,using computers and stuff, mainly attracted by the pay and 8-5 thing, on the other hand thinking abt the advancement , else wait stuck at the level then not very prospective alreadi

  the estab for AMS isn't very high... so getting stuck at a certain rank is normal...

  so being a naval diver is better or this is better? lolx...cause i'll be enlisting into diver this sep...at the same time offered this job from airforce...the pay seems so so so attractive...

  personally, if i can make it through as a Naval Diver... i rather sign on as a Naval Diver.

  went for the briefing and interview,, found out tat NO 2nd contract will be offered after ur 10 yrs of service...hmm gotta reconsider man
