  Just for interest sake... in WW2 .. Germany built the biggest gun ever.... heres the site as well as some pics....

  The biggest gun shall be Saddam Hussein super-cannon which has a diameter of 424mm which can fire a quauter-ton shell which van hit 1700 miles away! Gerald bull attempted to build a 1000mm diameter gun for Saddam but was killed by Mossad before he can completed!

  Actually... after reading the article...... i was thinking a mobile artillery platform placed on the singapore to malaysia trackline ( or maybe MRT system) would be good. Maybe create an extra long range system of about 300 km. But then again... malaysia sure complain.

  biggest gun 424mm? no.....hell no.......that's only 16.96 inches!!!!!!
  the yamato had like 19 inches rite?(457mm)
  The germans had 800m and 1200mm guns in ww2 i believe.....

  something THAT big and THAT heavy, and generating THAT kinda recoil cannot be put on a mrt track lah... especially the bridges... its simply not built for that kinda stress.
  
  and if u need long range, i say get missiles. it'll cost too much to develop a new gun solution.

  i've always wondered how pple can use some of the weapons they made...
  
  how can ANYONE think of using nukes "tactically" on the battlefield?
  
  strategic i can understand, but tactical nuke shells?
