Hi, that's very normal for PTP/BMT, your body will get conditioned later. But if pain persist, you better check with doctor about it becos you may have seriously injured yourself. That's what happen to me when my shin fractured due to excess running.Originally posted by nismoS132:might be OOTing. the exercises too strenous for my ankles, every morning wake up the pain getting worst and worst. nowadays even started walking with a limp.
upper body no problem though, dunno why alot of ppl getting muscle aches, i do 200 dips a night but i don't really feel any ache, though arms do feel alittle weak.
Your area will be clean enough, you all din put enough effort. it's all about division of labour and whether they bothered to do their job. Let me guess... given 1 hour area cleaning, you all sleep 40 mins and spend 20 mins cleaning.Originally posted by nismoS132:- your area will never be clean enough.
- it is impossible to run up, pee and run back down within 2 minutes.
- there will also be someone that will screw up and the 49 others will suffer.
- you will wait 3 hours to see the MO, unless you're a sgt major, or you have a red beret.
- there's no reason to make the food taste good, with 20 minutes per meal, you barely have time to chew.
- the head and the hands do not work together, ie. OC tell those excused RMJ to march, when they march, they kena fuck by sgt.
- old injuries never heal, they only get worse.
i think there is no need to get so serious! he never said he was blaming the saf mah. and well, as u mentioned, hes still a recruit. few persons are born to feel at home in the military from day one. so its ok for them to complain - its only their first bk out! dont tell me u felt tt everyone was bright and sunny and ok and had no single complain or unhappiness the first time u bked out?Originally posted by Ponders:You all recruits blame SAF for every slightest thing without a deeper thought on what could have happen and what can you do to accomodate to the circumstances. SAF cannot cater to individual need. If so many cohorts before you could do it, you will not be the odd one out trying to change the system.

In reality, the area can't be 100% clean. So if you're area is 0.1% dirty and the Sgt finds, then it's not clean, though 99.9% is clean.
I don't know. But that seems to be how things work in there.
Running up and pee and run down in 2 minutes. it is possible. even on the 5th floor. Run up, 30 secs, pee 1 minutre, run down 30 secs. You dun want to run and took your time.
A lot of factors must be included. But well, nothing is impossible
One cocks up and 49 others suffer. Really depends the nature of the cocking up. If it is because you the 49 others never bothered to tell that "one" how to do things the proper way, it shows the team spirit, thus the platoon has to suffer.
First time is always like that. So even if I know everything well to perfection and I made a mistake accidentally. The whole platoon goes down. Hey, I did know everything, but it's just happened accidentally
Takes 3 hours to see MO. Suck thumb. Too many ppl go see MO just to escape exercise. thus the queue. If you all only go there for genuine reasons, things can be faster. Muscle aches, headaches ARE NORMAL and go away. Go MO only if you have sharp muscle pain + swelling or any life threatening illnesses or fever and flu.
Yah. Too many people go see MO to escape exercise. But that's not the reason why people should wait 3 hours to see a MO. Are there that many people that you have to wait 3 hours? As many people as SGH?
Food is OK. I wun say nice or bad. But the 20 minutes given to you, it is not a holiday camp. if the queue had been long, could have asked your DI for time extension. Otherwise 20 mins is enough. You will have an hour break after lunch, thus you just eat and f/o from the cookhouse, no need to chat and take your time.
Food is okay. It's a luck thing.
Excused RMJ, go marching. Who is your OC? which company one? I talk to him. By right not supposed to march. unless OC things you chao keng get status only, then he asks you to march.
Pleaseeeee! So why did some Sgt have to die in some commando training? And why did 4 commandos have to be charged recently?
Old injuries do heal. Your pain is psychological and you simply blame old injuries. When you book out, REST. it's not for clubbing, football or basketball.
Will heal. But slowly, because of the physical activities thoughout the week
You all recruits blame SAF for every slightest thing without a deeper thought on what could have happen and what can you do to accomodate to the circumstances. SAF cannot cater to individual need. If so many cohorts before you could do it, you will not be the odd one out trying to change the system.
Managing people is never easy. The more people there are, the more inefficient the system is going to be. Esp so when the people don't have a choice to be in the system in the first place

calling up their parents and complain to them. then the parent call back to coy line n complain to the OC and so on. some even gone to the extend of looking up for MP.
BMTC got too much welfare that majority of the soldiers these days are ah gua peng or climb over their superior head..
sort of true...Originally posted by Parka:Eh......This one really depends on the OC and CSM and the commanders.
There are many ways to make life miserable and YET no break any SAF regulations. It's a skill.
