Poor Nismo... Lucky u never ended up in Commando like u always said u wished to be in
BMT is training u to be fit in your unit (combat or service side) and it all surmounts to one thing. (i.e. Self Discipline). I am currently undergoing training and am excited to know my which way path will be in... Will i get posted to a siong unit or a rather lobo one like in BMTC. Either ways, i will certainly prove my metlle in which ever way i can. -

i also learned somethin... never to report sick and kena sick bay again!! they give u porridge to eat everyday and all u can do is sleep or read newspapers..
and the bloody MO didnt even bother to give me a check up.. he just ask whether i got fever and sore throat like i had stated earlier ... den he just send me straight to the sick bay after listenin to my lungs for a few secs...
lack of professionalism...
mm.. i got the fever while shivering in the cold waiting for the MO for 2 hours.... @!#...
anyway.. hope to pass my ippt next week and get disrupted .. passed the trial ippt last week already.. -

your area will never be clean enough. this is a fact. the only time you don't get punished for 'mistakes' is when the sgts do not have time to punish you. we've ever spent 2 hours cleaning the entire bunk, pulling out all the cupboards and beds, removing the cobwebs below the cabinets, and even wiping the floor with soap water to remove the rust stains, muds and what have yous.
and no, we do not sleep and rush to clean the area in the last few minutes. we're not dumb.
2 minutes may be enough for one person to pee, but try having 20 or more people squeezing into the same toilet all at once.
come to think of it, i rarely feel hungry when i'm inside. so i don't really care whether i have enough time to finish the food. there're times when i just take half the meal and idle the time away. 20 minutes is barely enough, you eat whatever food you can, and eat your fruits on your way to return the plates. the only time it's enough is when you do not have to queue. we can make do with 25 minutes though, which we are given now that we've spoken to the sgts. at least feedback works sometimes.
there are injuries that do not heal; look up torn ligaments.
on both my ankles, my calcaneofibular ligaments are fully torn, anterior and posterior talofibular ligaments are partially torn. the most i could do is train up my calf muscles to make up for the lost of my ligaments, but ligaments will not reattach themselves no matter how many years you give it. i don't really have any problems jogging, i've been doing that for the past 2 years by myself, 3-5km per day. it's the continuous standing and jumping that really hurts. and when it starts hurting, i can barely walk, let alone run.
i'm not really complaining about ns. i actually quite enjoy it: the experience and the training. except for the really boliao tekan sessions and some really pointless regulations. i enjoy training, i don't enjoy torture.
of course, it doesn't hurt to have more pay too. -

i'm in orion, i find that we're quite relax, that's how my bunkmates feel too. or maybe we're just better able to take things in our stride.

i can understand area cleaning, and wanting to instill discipline, orderliness and conformity etc. but wtf is the point of having such a bloody big cabinet when you're using less than 50% of it's space.
the toiletries shelf is the most ridiculous of all, so much space, and all you can have is a fork n spoon, shaver, toothbrush, toothpaste, soapbox, mug and 1 toilet roll? and we're not even allowed to place our own shaver and toothbrush/paste inside? -

during my time..we have not much chance to see other company doing their BMT..cos there were only 2 company doing BMT that time...Pegesus n Delta coy..
the only time we get to see other recruits is when we were 3 weeks till we P.O.P..
n the 1st batch of recruits we saw were woman(Raven Coy)..nothing much to see also lah..
for me..i dun really care which Coy is more sing then which coy..go unit..also back to zero.. -

few days after we went in, mohawk had a batch of female recruits enlist, but their bmt only 2 weeks. quite a few butch inside, only 1 cute, the rest, to be blunt, like fuck.
there's a female recruit in our coy now, another 4 will be joining us during bmt. she's ok, but their sgt's pretty good looking though -
