Nos. of call back, ICT or whatever.

Hey from the day you ROD or ORD, other than IPPT, do you get called back every year.? Anyone here had the same experience as me.
From April 98 ROD till today. I had been called back every year.
1999 oversea ICT. 4 weeks
2000 MOB.
2001 Att. to BN as Bde Support for ATEC, 2 weeks follow by wargame 1 week.
2002 local ICT 2 weeks.
2003 on course 5 weeks. MOB
2004 MOB and coming end of the year, another war game.
Other than MOB, I find the rest OK as it is "fun" for me. -

Btw, are we suppose to have 7 high keys? Just wanna to check it out.

How about the IPPT? Is it end at 45 yrs of age? -

I not very sure abt the high and low key thing as for me all 13 are high key from what i was told. As for how many high key I clear din really make a diff. For the past 5 and this year 6 all been call back.
The last time I was told that no more 13 years and oni left with 10 years, 7 high and 3 low. Din check on it as it din really affect me. All high key. No PDF for my coy at all. -

SAF workyear starts from Apr of everyyear.
So if you kena something before Apr, it belongs to last workyear and something else in Sept of the same calendar year belongs to the next work year.
I have been back for IPPT after ROD in 93 till 97 when I finished school.
Then
98 - kena overseas exercise 19 days
99 - Local exercise 6 days
00 - mob
01 - Local exercise 9 days
02 - mob
Feb 03 - low key
Nov 03 - low key
so it is like every year since 97. -
Me every year without fail have to go back leh. Only wether it's in june or nov nia.

Previously, we must complete at least 9 high-key ICT within the 13-years cycle. From April 2003, we need only serve 7 high-key ICT during the 1st 10 years to qualify for 3 years of BIT (Basic Individual Training) during the last 3 years of the 13-year cycle. They said it is a 2-day programme, but I am going for mine come this Sept, one day onli.
Anyone else went for BIT olreadi? What they have for the 1 day?
Not BCTC I hope.

I dunno if it also applies to other Formations but, in my case, no more IPPT when my Arty unit finished its 13-year cycle back in '01. That's when we, the main body, were all around 34-35 years old, even as our IPPT liability is until 40. There were a few KAHs who "recycled on" for another tour of duty as veteran NSmen; I guess they & the junior officers had to continue taking the fitness tests.
I was subsequently called up for a test - my reservist unit had to "wait" for an active unit to ORD before we can be formally redeployed to PDF - but my battalion office (or whoever it was) promised over the phone to fight for my case. Never heard a peep from anyone since. -
Yup. KAH mostly officer will roll over if the FFI pass and for officer most likely will go till 40 or 45. IPPT they have to clear oni running if i am not wrong? Pardon my ignorance, but just curious, what is MOB? Yup. MOB mean mobilisation. Who dun know what is MOB
