ADF is a unit more attuned to doctrine research and combat peacekeeping ops.Perhaps they are trained in low-intensity skirmishes, while playing with their new toys.They are not ATEC nor OPFOR, thats what I think.Hmm..I saw one CPL in ADF before, he was in No.3 but looked quite old with a few mission bars and service bars, even an instructor's badge.Maybe what they said about ADF accepting people with "records" is true.But thats all I know.

maybe one whole Bn of A' levels, diploma and degree holders would form the most effective fighting force.
A21DF is a new experimental 'unit' within the SAF. not many will actually knows the exact size of the unit. or even the exact Orbat, detailed profile of this unit. from wat i get from career talks by A21DF officers coming down to our reservist unit, it's roughly an experimental unit, testing and improving tatics used by SAF as well as to come up with new doctrines and tatics. testing of new weapons ...etc etc...
it's no secret tat A21DF troopers participated in UN peacekeeping missions in timor leste. the formation of this unit gave SAF an option to deploy / participate in UN peacekeeping mission without having to deploy troops from the various combat arms.
but if u're sincerely interested in knowing more abt A21DF, call CMPB or 1800 EMINDEF for an appointment with the recuitment officers. i'm sure they would be able to give u a detailed and definately accurate infor of the unit. -

for casual comments on A21DF or related stuff, no harm coming in here to post and seek opinions. but for a more accurate infor, most people here would onli be ablr to post wat they think the answer should be. so if got doubts, cpls check wif CMPB or MINDEF.
