  Okay im just wondering if regs could get their own gear and use it in the field.. let's say i'm extremely dissatisfied with my sbo, could i like get one LBV from let's say, blackhawk industries or eagle industries, and use it?

  Yes as long no one make noise. Till now in reserve, I am still using the old SBO, my own field pack etc.

  really? so does that mean i can get a modular assault vest with armor by paraclete and use it in the field? cause i'd really would like to.. wait, someone PLEASE tell me they know what paraclete is..
