Is it something to do with giving us guys a rest for the week or preparing events for next week, something to do with processing logistics, that kind of thing?
Similarly,I heard that a study was carried out by the SAF which found a higher rate of accidents, correlating with training on Thursday nights. Is this true?
Thursday night is according to Malay believe that spirits came out on that night. There been hear say that a lot of strange encounter on training on thrusday nights. Hear say also SAF try to reduce the number of Thrusday night training.
But so far we been trained during thursday nights. Whether it is in Ubin jungle or in topo in cemetries.
Sardaukar, if a person who say if you have entrenching tools,a combat or survival knife and am M-16/SAR-21 ...... then not afraid, that person will be the first one to run !
For it is the heart, not the tools that make a person brave, only a person who have no confident in his own strenght will say "if I have this, that and that ". From my army experiences, in a lot of strange encounters, even if I give you tools, knife and rifles, they are useless, the best weapon at that time is your beliefs and heart.
