master freefallOriginally posted by flash9933:btw, what is the badge beside the air-born wing on his left breast pocket worn by the parade commander??
thanks ... so the badge is a master freefall ... different from the master parachute??Originally posted by react81:master freefall
Freefall is like what the red lions are doing. Parachute is the normal parachute.Originally posted by flash9933:thanks ... so the badge is a master freefall ... different from the master parachute??
bergerak is MOVE.Originally posted by kopiosatu:lemme try to break it down... i always do this to understand the command better.

That's the CO of 1 CDO Bn. Yes he does have a Navy SEALs trident. I've seen quote a few of those around. Not that rare in that sense.Originally posted by palmerised:bergerak is MOVE.
then "kawalan kehormatan, CEPAT JALAN"
eh you know ah during the inspection by the president, the guy escorting the president had something which seems to be a seal trident on his right breast. i don't know if this is true but i have met a seal-trained officer.. and i have seen another officer with the yellow ranger tab on his left shoulder.
can you post a pic? i cant see it from the download. ThanksOriginally posted by esesce:Check out this month's issue of Navy News at http://www.mindef.gov.sg/navy/navynews/ Scroll down to the article about CPT Esther Tan. There's a pic of her posing with some guys & some have so many badges until no place to put.
Rubbish. Don't try to mislead people.Originally posted by esesce:That's the CO of 1 CDO Bn. Yes he does have a Navy SEALs trident.
That guy, representing army GOH, is Major Jack Lau. (based on what I hear from the commentator). The parade commander and CDF are following behind.Originally posted by palmerised:eh you know ah during the inspection by the president, the guy escorting the president had something which seems to be a seal trident on his right breast.
to qualify for the basic airborne wing, you need five STATIC LINE jump, basically, you just jump and the chute will "automatically" open as a result of the line that attaches you to the plane. This is the wing that most "airborne" troopers have.Originally posted by flash9933:thanks ... so the badge is a master freefall ... different from the master parachute??
But the red lions just do normal freefall right? Jump out from chopper we see until sian liao.Originally posted by react81:The freefall jump is like what you see sport jumpers do, and like mentioned by another poster, what you see the red lions do on national day.
i agree with you on the red lions thing. every year is the same. 6 parachutists would jump out of a super puma and land somewhere on the stadium, and the 5 a-4s flying overhead in v formation, tailed by the f-16s.. haha it's boring already. what happened to all the armor and stuff like that.. would our armored mbts spoil the roads? please clarify..Originally posted by Icemoon:But the red lions just do normal freefall right? Why don't they do a HALO? Then wear oxygen mask and all the kits. They'll look even cooler.
