Russian concrete submarine???

I have read an article in a local newspaper on the new type of submarines which the Russians have been developing. However I read this article quite long ago(5years). The sub is designed to skimmed on the surface of the seabed so that it will be very hard to detect it by sonar. The concrete is for the sub to endure the very high water pressure at that depth. As for how it get back to the surface i have forgotten but what i can remember is that its feasible.The sub attacks its enemies underwater by firing torpedoes from the top of the sub (a bit like how ICBMs are launched) to the hull of the surface ship or enemy sub. I find this design very radical and intresting. I wonder if any of you guys can recall this or have an update on its development.Thanks

And during the launch it floated on the river and towed around by other boats. -

Would it be feasible to add these to our arsenal?We could create concrete submarines that are electrically powered and computer controlled,able to be used remotely in naval blockades or as traps along major sea lanes.

Nice pics!!! I think its a good idea to have. But i don't think we have the technology as yet. Especially, when we don't have those Russian rocket propelled torpedoes.
